Meeting at the Crossroads: Working Across Borders towards a More Equitable World
Addressing the world's most persistent and devastating problems is not something you do alone. Poverty and women's inequality are complex, interconnected issues that demand the skill, knowledge and creativity of many different actors. At Crossroads, we know from experience that when you bring together people and organizations that share common values and a commitment to finding sustainable solutions to the issues affecting their communities, you set the stage for meaningful exchanges, innovation and results.
For five decades Crossroads volunteers, from Canada and abroad, have answered the call to work with others to help create a more just and equitable world. Today, by developing long-term collaborations between partner organizations in the global South and Canada, and through the dedicated efforts of our volunteers, we are leveraging the expertise and resources needed to foster the growth of local economies and promote the rights of women.
I invite you to explore our Web site and learn more about Crossroads' work and the people who make it possible. To stay informed about our projects overseas and how you can get involved as a volunteer or a supporter, please register as part of our on-line community. Together we can create a more just and equitable world.
